ELKDOG medicine Ranch is a safe environment for domestic farm animals that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, or are perceived to have passed their previous usefulness. As horses become ready for adoption, they will be included here.

ELKDOG medicine Ranch specializes in equine rescue (horses) but does accept other domestic farm animals on a case by case basis. As other animals become available for adoption, they will be included here. 

There are currently no other animals available for adoption.

At ELKDOG medicine Ranch we recognize that the physical and financial responsibilities of animal ownership can be overwhelming. If you are experiencing this, please contact us for options to rehome your animal. We specialize in equine rescue (horses) but do accept other domestic farm animals on a case by case basis. 

ELKDOG medicine Ranch will work with local authorities to ensure safe keeping of seized or surrendered animals when our assistance is requested. We do not approach abusive owners ourselves, nor should you. If you suspect animal neglect or abuse in Cherokee County, Kansas, please contact the county's Sheriff's Department immediately.
