Elkdog Medicine, Inc. tracks annual private donors within three categories: Rancher > $1000; Cowboy $100 < $999; and Pony Express > $1 < $99.
Donations may be sent through Paypal (to terribirch@elkdogmedicine.com) or Facebook, or by check made out to "Elkdog Medicine" and hand-delivered or mailed (3242 SE 32nd Ter, Columbus, KS 66725) and given as a one-time gift, recurring annual gift, or donated in smaller monthly gifts. Any way you make it, your tax deductible donation will have a tremendous impact on our small rescue and allow us to continue growing and doing what our volunteers have been called to do.

Equine Sponsor - $1,800/year or $150/month – Sponsor a specific horse at the rescue with a 12 month recurring gift of $150, to cover his/her basic needs for the year. Schedule one photo shoot with your own photographer and your sponsored horse. Include up to two friends. Tasteful props allowed.
Resolve to be involved! Spread the goodwill of helping more abused, neglected, surrendered, and senior horses and other animals in need in 2023.

All donation proceeds are tax deductible for our donors and will go directly to the care and well-being of the animals living at ELKDOG medicine Ranch.

Donations are used for feed and supplements, hay, straw, shavings, hygiene products, pest control, medicine, veterinary care, dental procedures, body balancing services, transportation, fuel, rehabilitation devices, safety and enrichment equipment, routine maintenance of grounds, fencing and shelter improvements, office supplies, general upkeep of facility. We have no paid employees but occasionally we do need to hire contractors or other professionals for specialty services.

Effective 5/23/2018, ELKDOG medicine Ranch is a Federally certified non-profit Kansas corporation, which means that all monetary donations are tax deductions for our donors. Your generous gift will always be placed in direct support of the resident animals.
If you would like to volunteer at ELKDOG medicine Ranch instead of donating, please call Terri Birch at 918-408-8141 for a volunteer application to be emailed to you. We try to match our volunteers with their unique experience and interests from riding and caring for the horses to assisting with running fence (see pictures below).
Whether you help by volunteering in person at ELKDOG medicine Ranch, by adopting, fostering, or sponsoring an animal, by making a one-time or annual monetary donation, or by spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, or even by sharing on Facebook, we thank you.
