Missy gave birth to Rain on April 8, 2017 at the Galena facility. She will never have to worry about where she will find her next meal. Rain has become our Ambassador. She loves people and attention and has several "sweet spots." She was moved with the others to Elkdog medicine Ranch in 2017 when it was first purchased. She is definitely the Belle of the Ranch.
Star has been at Elkdog medicine Ranch since Nov 2020. Sanctuary was sought for him and his bonded mare Stormy after the passing of their beloved owner of ten years, from cancer. Star was retrieved in late November but it took several more trips to bring Stormy here. Unfortunately we lost Stormy on August 24, 2022. Leaving Star to make his own way in the herd. Star's exact age is unknown but he's estimated to be in his mid to late twenties.
